A five part doll featuring past leaders of the Soviet Union: Boris Yeltsin (wearing a sash with the colors of Russia), Leonid Brezhnev (he was always fond of awarding himself medals--to the undying mirth of Russians), Nikita Kruschev (rare, in that he wears a suit, and is not being insulted by the nesting doll artist, as is usually the case; see below), Stalin (his hand tucked Napoleonesque into his uniform, with the requisite pipe and frown) and Lenin (with goatee).

Five part, 6 1/2" tall. Signed by the artist. $7.50

Another political doll, this time featuring only ex-Soviet era leaders. Leonid Brezhnev (in a suit), Nikita Kruschev (lampooned by his wearing a rough country garment held together by a tied sash, and holding an ear of corn; he was disastrously in charge of agricultural production), Stalin (sans pipe, but still threatening), and Lenin (always in a suit, forever in a suit).

The remains of a normal seven part Elena Premudraja doll--but still making for a very pretty nesting doll. 3 3/4" tall. Very pretty painting. $5.00.

Valentine's day, four part nesting doll. 5" tall, egg shaped. We didn't like the execution of the sample, which is why it was rejected. $2.50 and it's yours.

A caroling girls set, the outer doll of which was broken during shipment. Two girls sing carols in the snow and a nicely lathed Christmas tree. 3 1/2" tall. Three part. $4.00.
