| These nesting doll styles have been sold in Eastern Europe since time immemorial. Within this range, one finds a wide variety of sub-styles.
Several of these dolls are based on eastern-european fables. Others reflect traditional styles of dress. And some are dolls which are simpler in nature, intended as inexpensive gifts.
